sunday funday to be exact!
i'm currently sitting outside {with a big mug of coffee} soaking up the sunny and beautiful weather. there isn't a single cloud in the sky! kind of hoping for this exact weather next saturday for kara and loyal's wedding day! kara is convinced it's going to rain. but i've been doing my maid-of-honor duty and reassuring her the weather is going to be p.e.r.f.e.c.t.
we had it rain on our senior prom AND our graduation...therefore, i think she is owed no rain on the day she says her "i do's!" it's only fair.
anywayyy, i've been trying to finalize my speech and i'd be lying if i said i wasn't having a difficult time. naturally, i'm a great public speaker. i don't fear being in front of a crowd and have always had a way with my words. however, i am definitely not a fly by the seats kind of girl-so i know whatever i want to say NEEDS to be put down on paper. i'm an organized freak and must be prepared. otherwise, things get a bit messy for me. which is why, i maybe started crafting just what i was going to say the day kara asked me to be her maid-of-honor. but it's really hard putting a friendship down on paper. {specifically mine and kara's} even for me, a lover of writing. there are a trillion inside jokes, tears that have been shed, phone conversations spoken, steps taken, trips to the mall, silly dance moves, secrets told, uncontrollable giggles and so much more. so where do i start? how do i start? these are the questions i've been asking myself for over a year.
but i think it's about time i stop over thinking it.
