Winter...Is That You?

Tuesday, October 28, 2008

It is October 28th...and Horsham just
had its very first snowfall (high of the day!)
of the year! Wahooo. It was gorgeous.
It was unexpected. And it came
just in time. Seeing as I was in
much need of a picker-upper.

Look close! You can see the flurries.
Backyard of my house.

My car. Covered in snowwww.
My footprints...I stepped in the snow
in my bare feet.
I was THAT excited.

Lately. I feel like a big whining
baby. I come on here and
complain left and right. I
apologize, m'blogging beauties!

But thanks to this crazy snow
storm out of no where, my mood
has been lifted. Granted...it's a
raining mess as of right now.
But the big, puffy, white snowflakes
did the trick this morning into
early afternoon. There is just
something about the first snowfall
that really gets me. I can't help
but get giddy. And giddy is what I
sure did become.

HOWEVER. The snow sure is
putting a damper on this whole
World Series deal. The game got
called off last night at the bottom
of the sixth because of downpour.
Pshhh. Tied 2-2. Ack. Can't it just
be over already? With Philadelphia
holding the title! Anywaysss...this
messy weather going on right now
is probably going to hold the game
off from picking back up tonight.
Mmmm. Who would have thunk it.
Baseball in the snow?

Regardless. I am ecstatic that for
at least the better part of today,
I got to embrace in a white sheet
covering the ground. Even though it
has all been erased from the rain.
Ugh.

Ohh. And for all those Twilight lovers
out there, I am having a heck of
a time getting through the fourth and
final book. (low of the day!) I FLEW through
the first three. (Almost as fast as Edward Cullen
flies through the woods)
But for some
reason...I am truly stuck on the last
one. Granted...I am on page 610 out
of the 754 that make up the glorious
Breaking Dawn, but I sure am dragging
on this last chunk. I don't know
why, either. Well. I sort of know why.
But for all of you dinglebats who have yet
to let your eyes wonder upon the
pages of these captivating books, I
won't spoil anything for ya'! But
seriouslyyyy...go read! Nowwwww!

The movie trailer and preview on
TV keeps taunting me like no
other! But I'm still very undecided
about how I feel as Kristen Stewart as
Bella. . .mmmm?

So now I turn the table to youuu.
Yes youuu. What was your high
of this terrific Tuesday?

Ah, I know what you mean about Twilight the fourth book is rough. I can't believe you had snow, I'm about ahh 20 minutes from you we just got nasty weather. My high today would have to be having a frank political discussion with my professor after class, she is hilarious and a nun and I would never have expected it!

Pictures are so pretty:) I actually love snow, and am not sure if it will snow in Atlanta this year. Last year it snowed. Was sooooo beautiful, and I went outside and played with kids ...

My high moment today was to find out that I was accepted at the University I applied for :)
