celebs. Some may find this
weird...pathetic...lame.
Whatever. Call it what you
will, but their lives excite me.
And it's just fun. Psh..
I'm lucky enough to have
a few friends that are equally
as ridiculous as I am when it
comes to Tinseltown.
(One even more ridiculous
than me...but I LO.V.E. him for that.)
Anyways. While out last night
with some of my FAVORITE
people from high school...and
Kara's added boyfriend from
Long Island, I get a phone call
from another one of my favorite
people from high school. Well...
she was actually my favorite
person from elementary school
as well...and just continued with
the title throughout the years.
So, since I'm out...I don't answer.
Because well, I was at an outside
bar and it was all sorts of loud.
But then I quickly remembered
that she was in Manhattan with
the boyf seeing South Pacific.
So I was thinking maybe she was
calling to tell me how it was.
So I dig back in my purse to retrieve
my phone, only to see that I have
a text message from her.
Well. My dear friend was calling
to inform me that her and the
boyfriend were just ten seats away
from Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes
during the show.
GASP!

(Here are the sweet parents of adorable Suri from that night.)
Now Miss Erika is not one
of those crazed celebrity lovers
I mentioned above. But she
knows the basics, and I mean...
I'm always talking about them
to her. And she does know that
Tom and Katie are one of
my most LOVED Hollywood
couples. (I have a few on the list.)
So this news was quite exciting for
me to hear. I call her...we chat
briefly...she tells me that they
were surrounded by security,
wearing all black and that the
show was great.
I was quite jealous of my fabulous
friend...but really excited for her
because it was her first encounter
with a celeb.
I actually intended for this to
be a real quick, "my friend saw
Tom and Katie" kind of post...
but I got totally carried away.
Hmpf!

Shut up! I'm so crazy about celebs and stuff like this too! I'm super jealous.
I have to say, I used to LOVE both of them, but now not so much.
Ha, too funny. I've never been very 'star struck'. Best mentioned in her blog that we saw Brooke Shields, right? Well, we were walking through Little Italy/Chinatown and I'm like, 'Oh, it's Brooke Shields.' She FREAKS out and doesn't believe me and since we've already passed her for the most part, she goes sprinting down the sidewalk to get a better view. Brooke actually started CRACKING UP at Jamie. She had her two little girls with her and it was so cute!
Also, boyfriend and I read your comment (can't remember on what blog) about writing Britney 6 letters. You. Are. Hilarious.
ahah ".. but I got totally carried away."
you are too cute. and i'm totally jealous of your friend too.
hehe! wow, that's not just a celeb sighting, that's a BIG HUGE celeb sighting! see, you don't need to be in Cali for that!
I tooo love Celebs.... I'm love hearing all about them too..
i am such a celeb nut too, but i think that's pretty obvious, haha.
I sat behind them at a show in Vegas when they first started dating. I couldn't concentrate on the actual Cirque du Soleil AT ALL!
im pretty celebrity crazed myself! it made my monday when i found out that rachel mcadams and ryan gosling got back together!
I love each and every
one of you for being
a celebrity nut.
(Minus Lauren...who is just
too cool to get scooped
away by celebs...haha.)
And brookem...I am simply
ECSTATIC about Ryan and
Rachel being back together.
It's like the Notebook in real
life. Sighhhh.
Lauren is right. I got really excited about seeing Brooke Shields. But, her body guards thought I was a nut case. I almost got tasered.
:)
I am obsessed with Celebs too!! It's like they live in a different world!
